Antwerp, Royal Zoological Society
These labels suggest that the Royal Zoological Society of Antwerp (=Anvers), Belgium maintained a mineral collection, perhaps limited to the minerals of Belgium. The style of the label and calligraphy suggests a date in the early 19th century. The collection is probably now part of the 40,000-specimen mineralogy collection of the Royal Belgian Institute of Natural Science.
