Frank Z. Edwards
Frank Z. [Francis P.] Edwards was born in Jersey City, New Jersey on February 5, 1910, the son of Norah and Frank Edwards, a merchant. By the time he was 10 years old his family had resettled in the mining town of Franklin, New Jersey, where his father worked as a machinist in the mine. By 1930 Frank had taken a job as a plumber in Franklin. In later years he moved south of Ogdensburg to 100 West Shore Trail, Sparta, New Jersey. He collected Franklin minerals and wrote several articles on fluorescent minerals. He died September 8, 1982 in Palm Bay, Brevard County, Florida.
