Wolfgang Brendler
(fl. 1920s-1950s)

Dr Wolfgang Brendler from Hamburg, born in Silesia, was probably one of the best German collectors from the 1920s to the 1950s. He worked as a lecturer at a technical college for pottery in Bunzlau/Silesia and for the Imperial Health Autority in Berlin in the years before World War I. He must have had connections all over the world. His collection containing about 4,150 specimens went to the Mineralogical Museum of the Hamburg University.
